PERSONAL

Maghalie started riding bikes at the young age of 4 years old. Having dabbled with soccer, karate, skiing and basketball to name a few, she later decided to focus on triathlon in her teens. Continuously dealing with a nagging foot injury, she had to reconsider her athletic career.

Maghalie had her first taste of cyclocross at the age of 18 when one of her friend invited her to a local race. Knowing where she's at today, it's needless to say she was hooked instantly! The following season was her first full CX season. Given the season in Canada is so short, she decided to reconnect with an old passion of hers and restart racing mountain bikes in the summer to get ready for the fall CX racing season.

Having raced for the last time on a mountain bike at the age of 12, Magh focused hard on the 2013 season and after having raced for only one year, she landed a contract on the prestigious LUNA Pro Team. After spending the last 4 years with them, Maghalie decided to create her own Pro-Team in order to focus on her true love: cyclocross.
